  • DART – Doctoral Program in Accounting, Reporting, and Taxation: DART is a doctoral program in Accounting, Reporting, and Taxation with a comprehensive view of economics-based research and a strict focus on quantitative methods and modeling.   • The Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission is pleased to announce the 2012-2013 Junior Fulbright Award Program for master’s study or research in the United States. Applicants can be Romanian BA, MA, PhD students and young researchers from both public and private universities. The Junior Fulbright award provides: international travel, tuition and university fees within established budget limits, as well as accident/sickness insurance and monthly maintenance allowance. The grant also offers book and settling-in allowance depending on availability of funds. The applicants will be selected through open, merit-based competition to participate in quality graduate level programs in any academic field except clinical medicine.     • Understanding Europe, will take place from June 20th to July 8th, 2011. This program is taught in English and includes academic courses and cultural visits. Speakers come from Tours university, from partner European or international universities, and some of them are French or international professionals. A cultural trip to the European Institutions in Strasbourg is included in this program. For this program, students may register for an intensive French language course with our partner, Institut de Touraine.
    • Littérature et culture françaises en Val de Loire, will take place from June 27 th to July 8 th, 2011. This program - taught in French and offered in partnership with the Institut de Touraine - is intended for advanced students in French, future and current teachers of French abroad. Lectures and conferences will take place at the university, and also in places where great writers from the Loire Valley lived.   • ERASMUS MUNDUS INFO DAY: The Erasmus Mundus Info Day on 7 February 2011 provides more information on the Call. It will explain the application process and documents, and give tips and advice on how to prepare a strong proposal under all three of the Actions. The Info Day will take place in Brussels, and be broadcast live via webstreaming. Participants at the event, and people following the sessions on line will be able to post questions. A partner search mechanism will also be available. Registration will open in early January.   • The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in the Netherlands is happy to inform you of the TU/e Talent Scholarship Program for excellent international master students. This unique scholarship program offers a considerable number of full-cost scholarships to talented international students to participate in one of the universities master's programs. These scholarships are available for master courses starting in September 2011. Students can register online via http://www.tue.nl/masterprograms until 1 February 2011, however the sooner the Admission Office of the TU/e receives their applications the better changes applicants have to gain a TU/e scholarship.   • Actiunea Asistenti Comenius-stagii de practica pedagogica cu finantare europeana pentru viitoare cadre didactice se adreseaza absolventilor, studentilor (cu cel putin 2 ani absolviti la momentul depunetii candidaturii), masteranzilor a caror specializare conduce catre o cariera didactica si care au absolvit modulul psihopedagogic. Candidatii au posibilitatea sa faca practica pedagogica intre 13 si 45 saptamani, intr-o scoala europeana pe care o vom selecta din baza de date a CE. Candidatilor aprobati li se acorda, in functie de perioada stagiului si tara de destinatie, un grant menit sa acopere cheltuielile de transport, cazare, masa, precum si o suma pentru pregatirea lingvistica (in limba tarii gazda), pedagogica si culturala.   • The Yggdrasil mobility programme offers funding for international Ph.D. students and younger researchers for research stays in Norway. The mobility programme encompasses all subjects and disciplines and takes its name from Yggdrasil, the immense ash tree from Norse mythology whose branches extend throughout the world and into the heavens. Grant applications will be accepted from the following countries: European countries (all countries, including all Council of Europe member states, except for the Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Sweden); non-European countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Egypt, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico and South Africa. The Yggdrasil mobility programme is targeted at younger researchers, defined as: those admitted to organised Ph.D. programmes; those who have completed a Ph.D. degree not more than six years prior to submission of the grant application and are affiliated with a higher education and/or research institution. Applicants must secure a letter of invitation from the host institution in Norway. The invitation letter must contain a brief plan for the research stay (research activity, any seminars, courses, etc.) as well as specify the time period of the stay and any facilities that will be made available to the grant recipient. Application deadline and procedure: The closing date for submission of applications is 16 February 2011 for research stays commencing at the earliest in the autumn of the same year.
