SUMMARY:11th International Conference and the 2nd Autumn School on Physics of Advanced Materials
DESCRIPTION:In September 8-14\, 2016\, the Faculty of Physics of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi and the Faculty of Physics of Babes-Bolyai University\, Cluj-Napoca\, together with other twenty four prestigious institutions organize the 11th International Conference on Physics of Advanced Materials (ICPAM-11) and the 2nd Autumn School on Physics of Advanced Materials (PAMS-2) at Babes-Bolyai University\, Cluj-Napoca. \nICPAM-11 is intended to be a forum of scientists involved in the field of Material Science and will consist of invited and contributed papers during plenary\, oral and poster sessions. PAMS-2 is an interdisciplinary school dedicated to young researchers\, and not only. The lecturers are internationaly recognized experts in Materials Science and Technology. ICPAM-11 hosts two art related events: the 4th International Festival of NanoArt and the 2nd Art and Science Photography Exposition and Workshop 2016. \nAt the last edition\, in 2014\, the events organized by us and\, implicitly\, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi\, received positive press coverage in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. \nInformation about the events we are organizing this year are already published by Nature\, as well as by Nanotechnology Now. \nAs usualy the organizers prepared a number of prizes for the best contributions presented by young researchers. \n \n
