SUMMARY:Seminarul internațional „St. Gregory Palamas Today: Experiential and epistemological pathways”
DESCRIPTION:Institutul pentru Studiul Valorilor și Spiritualității (Romania&USA)\, în colaborare cu Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași și Universitatea București\, organizează în perioada 13-15 iunie 2025\, la Casa Hozeva\, Neamț\, Seminarul internațional „St. Gregory Palamas Today: Experiential and epistemological pathways”. \nSesiunea de deschidere va avea loc vineri\, 13 iunie\, ora 17.00. Prelegerea inaugurală este susținută de Acad. Prof. Dr. Mircea Dumitru\, Vicepreședinte al Academiei Române\, având ca temă „Palamas in his own time and now\, from a modal metaphysical standpoint”. \nSâmbătă\, 14 iunie\, ora 9\, Keynote Address va fi susținut de Profesorul Norman Russell (Universitatea Oxford)\, personalitate cu recunoaștere mondială în cercetările legate de opera palamită\, tema fiind „Palamite mystical theology and the Church in the last century of Byzantium”. \nManifestarea reunește experți de renume din întreaga lume\, între care Constantinos ATHANASOPOULOS (FHEA\, UK)\, John FARINA (George Mason University\, USA)\, Frederick AQUINO (SMU Perkins School of Theology\, USA)\, Andreas P. ZACHARIOU (Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University\, Georgia)\, Alessia BROMBIN (Pontifical University of the Holy Cross\, Italy). \nOrganizatorii evenimentului sunt Dan Chițoiu (ISVS&UAIC)\, Constantinos Athanasopoulos (FHEA\, Marea Britanie) și Corina Domnari (ISVS&UAIC). \n \n
