Erasmus Day is an event organised at the beginning of each academic year by the European Programmes Office within the Department of International Relations. Its purpose is that of helping incoming Erasmus students – be they in UAIC either for a semester or a whole academic year – integrate in the cultural and academic environment in Iasi.

During the opening ceremony of “Erasmus Day”, the incoming Erasmus students are welcomed by our university representatives. Further on, student associations present the activities offered to foreign students during their stay in Iasi. Afterwards, students receive materials promoting UAIC (materials made available by the MEDIA Department of our university), they are invited to taste traditional Romanian dishes and get acquainted with their Romanian colleagues while dancing on Moldavian folkloric music.
