FOR ERASMUS, EXCHANGE AND FREE MOVER STUDENTS

CONCERNING THE LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION

Students planning to undertake a mobility at any of the following UAIC faculties – Biology, Chemistry, History, Law, Psychology and Education Sciences, Orthodox Theology or Roman Catholic Theology – should be aware that the regular courses offered by these faculties are taught in Romanian.

This does not prevent international students from carrying out an Erasmus+ mobility in these fields. Although they may not be able to attend regular lectures in the traditional format, many courses can also be followed in English through tutorial-based arrangements.

These tutorials usually consist of individual or small-group meetings with the professors responsible for the respective courses. Students receive guidance and academic supervision in English throughout the mobility and may complete assignments, sit examinations and receive feedback in English.

As the availability of tutorials may vary from one semester to another, students are strongly advised to contact the Erasmus+ academic coordinator of the host faculty at least one month before the beginning of their mobility, in order to discuss the courses and arrangements available for that semester.
