Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment in which students can participate fully in academic and university life. The International Relations Office offers guidance before and during the mobility and helps exchange students access the appropriate university services.

Students with disabilities or other special needs are encouraged to contact us in advance so that suitable arrangements can be discussed. Depending on individual needs, support may include read-aloud scanning equipment for students with visual impairments, wheelchair access across most of the main campus, additional time during examinations, the possibility of being accompanied by a support person, and assistance from local students with campus orientation or study-related tasks.

Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iaşi students also have access to free psychological counselling and other support services.

To help international students settle in, UAIC offers a Buddy System connecting exchange students with local students. They are also encouraged to take part in student associations, cultural activities and free Romanian language courses, which offer further opportunities to integrate into the local community.
