Insurance Requirements

All international visitors should have valid travel and health insurance for the entire duration of their stay.

Citizens of EU/EEA countries may use the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to access public healthcare services in Romania. However, additional travel insurance is strongly recommended, as it may cover services not included in the EHIC system.

Non-EU citizens should have a valid private travel health insurance policy which covers the entire duration of their stay in Iasi, including travel days.
