Postgraduate studies: Doctorate

Postgraduate studies: Doctorate (4 years) / The Preparatory year of Romanian language followed by Doctoral studies

Required documents:

  1. Application form duly filled in, with 30×40 mm photo;

  2. Proof of payment of the 100-Euro file processing fee, with the specification of the candidate’s full name (as indicated in the passport);

  3. Written consent from a potential doctoral supervisor;

  4. Copy of the document certifying the permanent residence in the applicant’s home country;

  5. High School Graduation Diploma and the Academic Transcript for the high school studies – certified copies*;

  6. Graduation Diploma (University BA/BSc Degree) – certified copy;

  7. Postgraduate Diploma (Master Degree) – certified copy;

  8. Certificate attesting promotion of the Bachelor Graduation Exam for graduates of the current calendar year – certified copy;

  9. Academic Transcripts/Diploma Supplements for completed studies (Baccalaureate, BA/BSc, Master) – certified copy;

  10. Birth Certificate – certified copy;

  11. Marriage Certificate or any other document certifying change of name (if applicable) – certified copy;

  12. Valid passport – copy;

  13. Medical certificate (in an international language) to prove that the candidate does not suffer from infectious diseases or other illnesses that are incompatible with the future profession;

  14. Language Certificate;

  15. Curriculum-Vitae;

  16. Motivation letter;

  17. List of published scientific.

*certified copies of documents in Romanian/English/French, or certified authorized translations in English of documents in other languages, respectively

In order to be accepted to studies, doctoral degree candidates have to pass the entrance exam organized according to the calendar of each doctoral school. In order to prepare for it, they must keep in touch with the potential doctoral supervisors who agreed to give them a written consent.
