Gender equality is consecrated at the international level through the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, being included in the UN 2030 Agenda, with the aim of reducing inequality and eliminating discrimination in all areas.

In the spirit of European values and requirements, University “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” of Iași undertakes the commitment at the institutional level to promote, monitor and integrate gender equality in institutional culture and practices.
