A team from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports won the Gold Medal at the International Showroom of Inventics in Geneva, where they presented a workout device for the paraplegic and hemiplegic patients. The team was conducted by Phd. Professor Marin Chirazi, the dean of the faculty, and also comprised Marin Neculăeș, expert in kinetotherapy and Viorel Strungariu, member of the Didactic Workshop of the University.

The invention, awarded at the 37th Edition of the International Showroom of Inventics in Geneva is a polikinetic device which can be used by paraplegic and hemiplegic patients for daily recovery workout. The device allows a high number of complex workout moves and, unlike other similar devices, is compact enough to permit usage at home, without therapeutic assistance or surveilance.

The team was also present Tuesday, 13th of April, at the festivity organized by the Minister of Education, Research and Innovation.
