As a member of the EC2U Alliance UAIC is joining forces to share MSCA postdoctoral fellowship supervision offers. More than 150 offers are available across the alliance in various fields).
Experienced researchers are encouraged to submit proposals for positions offered by UAIC in the Social Sciences and Humanities (SOC) field.

Through this program, individual researchers of any nationality can receive funding to develop state-of-the-art knowledge and conduct research in Europe for one or two years. This is a significant career opportunity that can lead to enhanced employability and career prospects.
◊ The MSCA-PF program supports experienced researchers full time for 12 to 24 months. Personal requirements/qualifications include:
- Fulfillment of the eligibility criteria mentioned in the guide for applicants to the MSCA-PF program
- Researchers can be of any nationality, but they cannot have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the associated partner hosting the outgoing phase for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline.
- A maximum of eight years from the date of award of the first doctoral degree
- A good publication record is an asset.

Accommodation and Support
Participants will benefit from:
- Accommodation in university dormitories (Campus map). Accommodation may vary from 580 LEI/month/person for C5 dorm and 885 LEI/month/person for Gaudeamus (prices of 2025 – 2026 academic year).
- The university canteens offer meals at an average cost of approximately 25 RON, dessert included.
- On-Campus medical services
UAIC offers international researchers free medical assistance through its on-campus medical office. The medical office provides primary medical care and can assist with common or acute health concerns. Services offered may include:

- General medical consultations and treatment for minor or acute conditions
- Preventive care and basic health monitoring
- Medical advice related to research well-being and general health
- Validation of medical documents issued by other healthcare providers
The office may also provide follow-up support for researchers with ongoing health conditions and ensure that appropriate medical documentation is available for academic procedures when required (Location: Titu Maiorescu Campus – C8 Residence, Room 1)
- Arrival assistance and orientation (Local transportation: one ticket costs 4 lei and is valid for 120 minutes on trams and/or buses)

Other libraries in Iasi are Romanian Academy Library, Gheorghe Asachi Public Library of Iasi, French Cultural Centre, British Council and German Cultural Centre.
