SOCIAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING IN CAMPUS
Blended Intensive Programme
Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Iași, Romania

What is it about?
This Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) addresses the growing need for university communities to actively promote the holistic health and resilience of their students. The programme aligns directly with SDG #3: Good Health and Well-being by focusing on key determinants of social health. It is interdisciplinary, drawing on concepts from health psychology, sociology, public health, and social work. Participants will critically analyze key determinants of well-being within the academic environment, moving beyond traditional physical health models to focus intensely on social connections, mental resilience, and cultural integration. The core objective is to shift from theoretical understanding to practical application: participants will work collaboratively in international teams to design and propose evidence-based intervention strategies tailored for implementation within the EC2U campus community. This program ensures that participants are not just learners, but active agents of positive social change.
