The EU Knowledge Valorisation Week 2022 will take place from 29 March to 1 April 2022.

The virtual event will showcase excellent examples of policies and tools that promote the uptake of research results and science-based solutions in society and the economy. It will bring together policy makers and stakeholders from different backgrounds with a common goal. It will stimulate exchange of experience and dialogue on ways to improve investments, capacities and skills in creating value from knowledge, thereby accelerating the green and digital transition and contributing to job creation and prosperity in Europe.

The EU Knowledge Valorisation Week 2022 will involve more and different actors. Stakeholders could actively propose to present at the Week once they had submitted their best practices to the continuously open call on the EU Knowledge Valorisation Platform. In the European Year of the Youth, one focus is on fostering valorisation and entrepreneurial mind-sets and activities among the young generation.

The EU Knowledge Valorisation Week will contribute to the new European Research Area (ERA) that calls for better translating research and innovation results into the economy and society. It will support the current work on ‘upgrading EU guidance for a better Knowledge valorisation’ and allow exploring interest and possibilities of future joint EU action based on existing best practices.

The event is organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General Research and Innovation, EU Member States and EEA countries.
