Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi through its Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEAA) is a partner in a new Erasmus+ KA2 project named Global Citizenship and Diversity Management (GC&DM) Skills in Higher Education (acronym GLOBDIVES).

During 13-14 October 2022, FEAA hosted the interim transnational project meeting which was attended by 7 international members of the partner universities (Finland, Germany, Lithuania and Spain). The meeting aimed to analyze the activities developed so far in the project and to set up the next steps to follow. The partial outcomes regarding the first two Intellectual Outputs of the project were also presented, namely: the development of a Common European Pedagogical Toolkit and Framework for course design on GC&DM); a 5-ECTS Course Content on Global Citizenship and Diversity Management and the preparation of the 3rd Intellectual Output: a Train-the-Trainers toolkit for raising awareness about diversity and inclusion in teaching practices).

UAIC is the lead university in the development of the third intellectual product.

GLOBDIVES focuses on diversity issues in the academic environment related to ethnicity, race, nationality, identity, gender and sexual orientation. The project aims to promote and enhance the awareness of the greater importance of inclusion and diversity management in higher education institutions.

The GLOBDIVES project is developed within the Erasmus+ Higher Education Cooperation Partnerships. The project partners are: Kauno Kolegija (Lithuania – project coordinator), LAB University of Applied Sciences (Finlana), Hochschule fuer Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes (Germany), Universidad de Vigo (Spain).
